FROM THFN- Each year, through the course of the lifetime of our building, from its erection in 1919 to its replacement next year by the new high school building, incoming freshmen have entered upon their high school careers, and graduating seniors have completed their four years of high school life and have gone to make places for themselves in the world. These walls have witnessed all the numerous activities embarked upon by these students; their laughter, their tears, their dancing, their study, their successes and their failures, their friendships and their courtships. All the fun and all the hard work that go into a high school career. Our high school building as it appeared while under construction thirty years ago. The picture was taken in January 1919.

We dedicate our 1948-49 Copper Catto Louise Park, as a token of our gratitude to a competent, untiring, unselfish worker for whom we have the utmost respect. She has served as the sponsor of our Honor Society for the past five years and has been the fi- nancial advisor of our annual since the first issue in 1944. We especially appreciate her patient and understanding guidance in our activities.
