Guy, a native of Little Rock, Ark, has been one of the important cogs in Klarshall Arnold's cxhuhcrant track machine for almost four seasons, and in that time he packed away many shining medallions won under NIav roan and VVhite banners. His best time in' the lOO-yard dash was :1 blazing 9.5, which he did on two occasions successively at the S. I. A. C. track meet in 1949. That same season he won the conference title in the 100-yard dash by beating thc famed Xavier sprinter, Clayton hiPan- ama!' Clark. If he is ever cured of his habit of getting of the hole late. he will surely gain nationaI fame. As it stands now his greatest competitor is himself. h Track experts in this section of the country call him the greatest thing to hit the' S. I. A. C. since the great Riozcllc Ellerbee of Tuskegee.
