WILLIAM THOMPSON The third Thompson brother to play for Morehead, William, joins this year's varsity and adds great depth to the Eagles' strongest posi- tion, guard. He is a native of Stockdale, Ohio, stands 5-11, and weighs 153 pounds. He has great speed and fits right into Laughlin's run and shoot brand of basketball. 88 BERT GREENE Bert was one of the all-time high scorers in the state while he was performing at Olive Hill. As a freshman Bert averaged 25 points a game as a guard and has one of the deadliest one-handed jump shots in basketball today. ACIE HALL Acie, a junior from Jackhorn, Ken- tucky, is the hard-working student manager of the Eagles' squad. Acie has a working knowledge of the players' problems as he was a forward on the 1959-60 team. Acie could be said to be the only student manager in the OVC who can dunk the ball. Coach Laughlin gives last minute instructions . . .

TOM ELLIS Tom is a sophomore from Amelia, Ohio. He stands 6-4 and weighs 193 and is rugged on the boards. This year Tom has been used Slmfingly, but has shown great desire and hustle to gain a starting position. I l lk I .,, X . v. r C, Tjz.. 3 M 3 4 - MICKEY MORGAN Mickey is probably one of the most under-rated guards in the tal- ent-loaded OVC. Mickey possesses a deadly left- handed jump shot, and is most val- uable for his hawk-line defensive play. The 6-1 senior scraps till the final horn. DON MARTIN Don is a 6-5 sophomore forward from Martin, Ky. Don hits with great regularity from the side and at 188, is a solid rebounder. Laughlin feels that Don is a real find and with valuable game ex- perience under his belt could become a future Morehead starter. Morgan lays one in Martin in pre-game warm up . . .
