y I Ty Writer in Residence james Still, widely acclaimed novelist, poet and short story writer, worked on cataloging his manu- scripts, publications, and correspondence at Morehead during the second semester. His writings have been extensive and are well known. A novel, River of Earth, received the South- ern Author's award as the best novel of the year and his books, Hounds of the Mountain and On Trouble- some Creek are classics.
