CASA GRANDES Dr. Henry Carey, department head of Sociology of Morehead State College, has participated in the dig at Casa Grandes for the past several summers. Casa Grandes is located about 160 miles South of the American-Mexican border. This excavation has occurred each summer since 1953 and was also worked in the late 19305. He said, Morehead State College symbol- izes the new spirit of education in Kentucky. You are making real progress here at Morehead. The annual Dance Institute attracted peo- State FHA Meeting Over 800 members of the state Future Homemakers of America organizations met on the campus during the summer of 1960. The young ladies from all areas of the Commonwealth spent three fun-filled days on the campus discussing their many pr0j6CtS and goals. The Institute has grown into one of the most popular dance gatherings in the country and has brought nation-wide acclaim to Morehead State College. II9
