CASA GRANDES Dr. Henry Carey, department head of Sociology of Morehead State College, has participated in the dig at Casa Grandes for the past several summers. Casa Grandes is located about 160 miles South of the American-Mexican border. This excavation has occurred each summer since 1953 and was also worked in the late 19305.
