PGWDERPU FF Seniors Prevail 8-6. The score says it all. In a hard fought battle with the Junior Sting, the Senior Express prevailed in this year's Powderpuff football game. The game was played on Saturday, March 8 in less than favorable conditions after a downpour left the field muddy and wet. Despite the weather conditions and an early touchdown by the juniors, the Senior Express was able to come back in the second quarter when quarterback Joan Lynch ran the ball into the end zone to score. A two point conver- sion was scored by Stacy Pierce to break the tie. By halftime. the Junior Sting had been stung. Helping the defense this year was Jennifer Wat- son. As she was unable to play her regular position due to a wrist injury. Jennifer became the punter, and placed two kicks well out of scoring range for the juniors. The coaches of this year's team. including head coach Dave Perriera, deserve to be congratulated for the victory as well. l. Niko Caaganan screams on the sideline. 2. Coaches Jimmy , Baker.
