Last year the juniors won the Spirit Stick yet came in third overall. Now with the new system, the class with the most spirit has a good chance to win the Spirit Week. This years' Spirit Week was one of the best in recent years as everyone yelled their lungs out and dressed up in funny cos- tumes. After fierce competition, the Seniors of 86 took first with the Sophomores second, the Juniors third, and the Fresh- men a close fourth. The themes for Spirit Week were the following: Seniors were Senior International. the Juniors chose Junior Jukebox, the Sophomores had Sophomore L.A. and the Freshmen decided to have Freshman Safari. With those themes the dress up competi- tion looked to be close and it was with the Seniors taking a slight lead with 47.75 points. Overall, Spirit Week was a big success. It was a year of the Seniors having to clean up their toilet paper mess for the first time ever.
