Seeking Top Tw This year's Varsity Baseball team is off to a great start. The coaching staff is led this year by Mr. Jerry Sheets. He is assisted by coaches Marty Craft and Steve Ortiz. Coach Sheets is very excited about this years team success so far. He hopes to keep up the varsity winning tradition. His prediction is that the team will make the C.A.L. playoffs and finish in the top two. He goes on to say that Moreau has the best varsity infield in the C.A.L., H.A.L., and M.V.A.L., and because of this the team will continue to dominate and win. This years team captains are seniors John Looney and Glenn Baxley, When asked about their feelings of this years team, they were very optimistic. They both feel that the team has a lot of o In C.A.L. potential to have an outstanding winning season. The team as a whole works very well together and ually they help each other out. offensive hitting, team speed, and infield seem to be the points for the team. The continued strong hitting by Baxley, John Looney, Paul Zendejas and newcomers Scott Jacques, Steve Johnston, Jim Park, Dave Liebowitz, Sun Chung M and playo a goo all Neideffer will bring the team to victory at the C.A.L. fs.
