Swinging Good Season ln only its third year of existence as a fall sport at Moreau, men's tennis has become quite popular. This years team consisted of I2 players: Quang Trinh, John Eom, Craig Land, Charles Perrino, Jason Jun, Chandra Bathwal, John Tien, Dimo Duque, Russel Wong, Kirk Yo- shida. Anthony Zuazao, and Ken Der. This years team was coached by Mr. Dan Leon. This was h high tude their sport we c seaso is first year coaching at Moreau and he set some oals. I want the team to develop a winning atti- nd respect for each individual. I want to increase knowledge of the game and teach them good manship. Having fun is most important. though. Facing The Odds This year the Varsity Wrestling Team got off to a great start. They participated in many tournaments which included the John F. Kennedy Tournament where the team placed third, Cato Invitational where the team recorded a fifth place finish, Valley of the Moon which they placed seventh and Lawrence Miller Invitational where the team placed sixth. Head Coach Chet Dickson was joined by Assistant Coaches Manuel Navarro and Rich Serrao this year. First time out senior Don McNair contributed a lot to the team along with returning sen- iors Dan survived will Wre CI9l lbs.J Plan O'Connor and George Brumm. Dan and Georg four years on the Mariner wrestling Team an be missed very much next year.
