DGMINAN Although adjustments had to be made this year, the l985-86 GirI's Soccer Team was again a DOMINANT FORCE in their league. Set backs occurred at the begin- ning ofthe year, but the team strongly overcame them to place a close second to archrival Carondelet for the league title. The injury sustained by senior goalie Jenni- fer Watson was considered to be crucial at the beginning of the year, but junior Janet Zamrow took over and adjusted to the position superbly. De pite the extraordinary amount of talent displayed by t ie entire team, sophomore Kiera McCormick stood out. Her position was center half, but she actually played all over the field. The goals she scored on headballs were ama ing. Also playing extremely well were seniors Peggy Spen e. and Cami Hart, juniors Anna Atayde and Susie Sorn erger, sophomores Gina Moreno and Beth Gier, and fres men Curshanda Cusseaux and Shanan Carney.
