.l.V. Girls The GirI's Junior Varsity Cross Country Team coached by Mr. Ferguson led the girls to a second place finish in League. Coach Ferguson said, Every girl was an inspiration. Each meet their stamina increased. Freshmen Michelle Britto was the surprise of the year. Michelle finished fourth at the C.A.L. League Meet. Seniors Suzzane Lang, Kim Severeni, and Veroni- ca Xavier were the dedicated leaders of the team. They all made great improvements throughout the year. Sen- ior Maria Finkes was number one on the girls' team. Improve . . This was her fourth year participating in Moreau's Cross Country Team. The girls faced many challenges throughout their season. From the sandy beaches of Almaeda to the steep hills of Garin Park, the endurance of each runner was pushed to its very limits. Overall, the team had a tremendous season. and our looking forward to more of the same.
