Looking Forward o Continued Success ,. The I985 Freshman Football squad was one that showed great enthusiasm and effort. The final roster contained forty nine players and all team members contributed to the success of the group. Our theme this year was improvement, and we surpassed all our goals. l'm very proud of this team, said Head Coach Rich Serrao. The frosh team emphasizes fundamentals and basics and the growth factor with the i985 team was tremen- dous. Now imagine senior Scott Machado pass- ing you up followed by the rest of the Mariner Boys Cross Country Team. This was a familiar sight for many of the opponents who attempted to face the challenge of Moreau's i985 Varsity Boy's Cross Country Team. Coach Phil Wilder led his team to one of Moreau's most successful seasons this year taking three major firsts in C.A.L., N.C.S. and the Meet of Champions.
