Earning through doing, Mor- u's Interact club is a group special individuals who take eir skills and abilities and spread them out into the com- unity. eabody, Interact demon- rates the true spirit of Mor- au's philosophies as they ork towards improving so- al conditions and give to ihers the most precious gift of their time. Through a carnival and craft fair boutique, they assisted the Make a Wish organiza- tion, which is a group who grants final wishes to termi- nally ill children. Each Interact Club is self-gov- erning and self-supporting, though it follows' the by-laws of the international interact club, which provides advisors and works with others to whom the club has obliga- tions involving school, organi- zations and authorities. This year, the club has participat- ed in two major service pro- jects. printing day at Moreau. With the help of Protect Your Child , Moreau was able to open the school to finger print children.

They were able to visit the his- toric sights of the Nation's Ca- pitol, such as the Capitol Building, the Lincoln Memori- al, and the Washington Monu- ment. They heard speakers talking about defense, foreign relations, education, the press, and many other subjects. They were also able to talk with Congressman Pete Stark. Close-Up participants had long days, but got many re- wards, such as a trip to a din- ner theatre, a tree day, and a goodbye dance.
