The band did very well in most and even took first place in one. After watching several of their practices and talking with a few of the band members l can ap- preciate how hard they worked. When asked if the size of the L band was a hindrance or a benefit Drum-Major Tina Cana- Iis said Well, I really think they do a great job. The size doesn't matter. l also asked her what she thought about the different sections of the band. The drum line has a really hard job to do and they do it excellently. l asked her if she felt there were enough people in the brass sec- tion and she said The brass do a very good job and are plenty loud, Oh! the woodwin are out- standing also. in-ui Over all the band was supurb this year with all the inventive new material and new visual per- formances. Like the drum solo song with the flying banners as visual backup. As Randy Cari- veau said when l asked him about the bit lt's hecka bad . I could not have said it better my- self, Marching Band, your Hecka bad . arching With Music
