The Symphonic band performed at the Christmas concert in December, the Champagne concert in March qhaving the theme of Looney Tunes J, and the Spring concert in May. The Symphonic band attend- ed many California Music Educators Association iC.M.E.A.l festivals. At dr i it 4' Mftmi qi wA i li these festivals, the band was judged in the areas of concert performance andy sight reading. The band also went toj.Sacramento and competed in a two-day festival in which bandsi from all over California competed. W Some of the pieces performed this year were The Thunderer , Holi- day Festival Ovrrture , Instant Concert , Looney Tunes Over- tests .es .3 . -PS W ture , and Northwest Suite .
