Coach Dickson with some post match advice. ariner Wrestling This year the Mariner lvlatmen underwent a large change. With up to seven new faces on the varsity team and a com- pletely new coaching staff headed by Chet Dickson. The wrestlers upheld their ex- cellent tradition. Although they suffered their first loss in five years to underdog rival De La Salle, the Mariner Matmen placed in every tournament. The team was led by such men as Senior Mike Mac Donald, Chris QBoozeri Manos, Rich Vanderostyne and Joe Baalman. Next years returning letter- man will be highlighted by such men asg Jeff Fisher, Rich Navarro, Dennis Finkes and many new faces. This kind of lineup can only mean the continued winning spirit that the Mariners hav enjoyed over the years. The J.V. wrestlers followe closely in the varsity footstep this year. They placed in sei eral tournaments in whic they participated. They wer led to their winning season b the likes of Kurt Huxon, Er Smith, Jamie Gonsalve and George Brumm.

A combination ot girls from all tour classes make up this well-rounded team. Both old and new mem- bers are expected to do bet- ter than before. Excellence is one word used to describ one of the many goals whic are expected to be obtaine this season. With a lot of har work and dedication I am sur that this group of girls will go long way, both now and in tl' years to come.
