The 1984-1985 Frosh Basketball team: tBack rowl Edwin Silva, Jason Gardner, Steve Rego, Manuel Garcia, Jeff Nelson, Jon Varni, Bill Plowman, Coach McMillan. flfront rowl Esmond Licad, Robert Alvarado, Randy Allen, Steve Sanger, Joe Silva, Eric Ormsby, and Joel Espinoza. 2. Coach McMillan gives the team . a new game plan during a timeout. 3. The Frosh Stat girls show their interest in the game. 1 ff f ,Z F rosh Pre-season play was good for the all-new Mariner boys Freshmen basketball team. Robert Alvarado one ot the team's foremost players, who benifited the team with 115 points in pre-season play, commented that, the best thing about the teams first S . 5 . . . . .. 5 . ..,. ,, Basketball year is that they have a great foundation in which to grow on in the next tour years. Overall the team is really to- gether. Most of their winning came from their spirit. The team's moral was high and so was their team commaradery. Coach McMillian believe that working with his player on a one to one basis is im portant, just as important as l is tor them to learn to worl with each other as a tearr That is what the word tean stands for . . . Girls' Soccer had a fine year this year, under an excellent Coach Keister. The Moreau high school girls Soccer has a long history of being a power- ful team in the Catholic Athle- tic League and this year was no exception.
