Glam Orientation, hurried trips to the registrar and bursar, a mingling of strange, frightening faces in halls and corridors that went everywhere, but none of them leading you to your destination, made up our first week at Moravian. Hazing followed much too quickly, and we looked a sight' with baby caps, blouses backwards, lipstick hearts on cheeks, bows on fingers . . . Edie Steers lead the class . . . Mr. Bishop our class adviser . . . parties galore for upperclassmen . . . sports day . . . our first Candlelight service and the wonderful feeling of good- will among all the students . . . everyone pale and wan during our first college exam week and then the long stretch before Spring Vacation . . . Edie was our class representative in the Iunior Prom court. Finally, the end of May and with a tearful eye we bid a fond farewell to all for the summer. Sophomoresll and oh! how wonderful to be back tfor the first weekt. A mad rush to get settled and the first glimpse of the new freshmen . . . the empty feel- ing of expectancy when we thought of graduated friends. Our turn to haze the frosh . . . Edie was once again chosen class president. A sports day to remem- ber, what with broken glasses, bumps on the head, and oh! that sprained ankle. The traditional Candlelight services ushered in the Christmas vacation. Becky Wuchter looked lovely in the Prom court. A.E.Pi and Phi Mu held their first spring formals since before the war and the men were back now-but good- for spring house parties and such . . . mad rush before exams and once more we packed ourselves off for the summer. Back again . . . new faces . . . big depreciation in the class with the graduation of our senior secs . . . Full-fledged upperclassmen . . . Lucy Romig, our able class leader . . . Dr. Pickett our new class adviser. Weiner roast on the back campus for the frosh in mid-November. Lorraine Mclntire, the first to be married in our class . . . Christmas, our last with the traditional candles . . . term papers, exams, and an informal inter-sorority dance. The lunior Prom our big dance with Lorraine Mclntire, our lovely belle, and Marilyn Grube and Bobbie Smoke, her attendants . . . Sorority spring formals . . . and then the end of another year at hand With the Iunior-Senior luncheon, the handing down of gowns . . . packing . . . the end of another perfect year. Seniors! I ll We made it . . . Marge Schuessler, our class prexy, and Mrs. Curtis our new class adviser. Fraternity pins, here, there and everywhere . . . artificial candles for our last Candlelight service and a gift to everyone from Mrs. Curtis at the annual Christmas dinner . . . informal inter-sorority dance at the Hotel Americus . . . Who's Who students announced . . . exams . . . and our last semester at school looms before us as a dismal reminder that this is the end! Ii lunior Prom and formal inter-sorority dinner-dance at the Hotel Americus. Re- vival of the May Festival to the theme of the Nutcracker Suite . . . presentation of the honor seniors at sub-freshman day. Our final frolicking together at the Iunior-Senior luncheon and then Class Day. Graduation at the Moravian Church and a beautiful reception following . . . a fond farewell to a wonderful class.
