z 4 I 9 1 Q I' ...Q 5'-an SENIOR ADVISORS MR. CAMPBELL and Miss CRAMER CLASS I-IISTURY In September 1951 about sixty eager students enrolled in the Freshman Class at M.C.S. In the first class meeting we elected Mary Emperor, Presidentg jeff Hewitt, Vice Presidentg Lou Nutting, Treasurerg jim Hammon, Secretary. Our patient Advisors were: Miss Doran, Miss Cramer, Mrs. Hicks and Mrs. Hewitt. Early in the fall the Sophomores had their chance for revenge-Initiation. The method of initiation was changed from public initiation in assemblies to a party of Freshmen and Sophomores. In competition with the Sophs we produced the one-act comedy play, Bird on the Wing with Marilynn Kehoe, the leading lady. Our helpful director was Miss Cramer. We lost, but we thought better days were coming. A new year and a new election of officers was held for the Sophomores. jim Hammon, Presidentg Lou Nutting, Vice Presidentg Lucille Parker Ward, Secretaryg and John Romaine, Treasurer. Our Advisors were Miss Doran and Miss Cramer.
