powder puff football Football plavers and Pom Pom girls?? Make an interesting game Get those right! Any volunteers? Next, the great bon-fire made out of lumber was lit. That ended Thursday but more was to come on Friday as each princess was carried off to Freddies by her prince for breakfast with the King and Queen. The after- noon brought a long pep fest and the powder puff football game, starring the Junior and Senior girls; the Seniors winning. However, that night the Mighty Mustangs suffered a lose to the Milaca Indians which dampened the spirit of our sport fans. It came back only as the dance came into full swing. The theme was Sugar and Spice and everythings OKAY! And it was! Keep that fire going 11

coronation candids Don't smile Gus! Have breakfast with the king! That's how King Mike and Queen Dianne began their reign that memorandus Friday with their royal court. How did it all happen? Homecoming '72 came into being Thurs- day morning, September 28, at 8:30a.m. with a pep fest. Suddenly, at 7:30p.m. that very day, the royalty began their procession. They were led in by Chad Kaddatz and Ann Johnstone, crown bear- er and flower girl. Ex-King Ardy had the honor of handing the traditional sceptor to the new king. The surprised Mike Ingebrand, through his new power, crowned his Queen, Dianne Broehl. Pictures were snapped, recessional played, and the festivities moved on to the snake dance. 10 An experience not to be forgotten

prom 1973: colour my world Colour My World was the theme of the 1973 prom and banquet. At approximately 7:30 the banquet was served by underclassmen serving as waiters and waitresses in the upper level of the Catholic Parish Center. The invocation was given by Rev. Martin C. Olson with Roger Nieboer serving as Master of Ceremonies and Jeff Saari as the banquet speaker. Festivities following the banquet included folk music in the upper level by Reid Hendershot and dancing music in the lower level by the band Colla. The evening was ended by a late night movie. Bullit, as the tired dancers relaxed before going home or... .wherever. 12
