one-act gets a trophy!! A young boy who has done something wrong, although we never find out what it was, gets lectured by his parents and relatives. They try to shame him into confessing that he had done it, but eventually they give up and leave the room. A sudden blackout finds the boy hanging himself. Doesn't it sound familiar? This was our one-act play, No Why. It was performed for the student body on Jan. 14, and at the Sub-District contest the 22. For the second straight year they won at Sub-District. They went on to get 2nd at District. Jim Petey Gilbertson was selected the best supporting actor. The cast was: Jim Gilbertson, Roger Nieboer, Les Johnson, Linda Hushagen, Kandy Hanson, Bill Parent, Jeff Bertilson, Gill Strand, Lynn Rudser, Student Director: Mary Nordstrom, Director; Mr. Reiver, and set designed by Mrs. Reiver.
