The Rainbow’ The All-Purpose Room turned into a garden of fantasy, complete with wishing well, rainbow, and music as Prom '68 began. The music came from the famed Sir Walter Raleigh's, as they swung into beat. For those who did not dance and for those who did, there was a wild Bingo game taking place in the Agriculture Room. Mr. Nelson, presiding, called numbers and passed out prizes. The movie, SHENANDOAH, was very interesting and caused a good many shiney eyes to run. 19

‘Somewhere Over An evening to the theme of ' Somewhere Over the Rainbow had its beginning May 28 at 8:00 as 46 couples turned out in their best duds and took part in this year’s Grand March. As each couple went through the steps, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Sahlstrom chose the king and queen to reign over the evening’s festivities. Debbie Eastlund and Greg Yank- owiak received the honor this year and the march was brought to an end as they led the remaining participants up and out of the audi- torium to the dance. 18

Rev. Rand Speaks On Yawns As everyone turned their stomachs toward the cafeteria, the Prom was over, and the Banquet begun. Steak, beans, salad, and potatoes were served by waitresses, and an ice cream sundae was served for dessert. Following the meal, the program began; the Senior Class Will was read along with speeches by assorted speaking. All will agree the Prom and Banquet was and will be a 'night to remember. 20
