Short straight skirts and pointed toe flats, were popular. Culottes were also in style for the 61- 62 school year. Close to the end of the school year the in- tern or Ben Casey blouses were in style. The box and straight pleated skirts, sweaters, and tennis shoes were worn by the girls. They frequently wore chain necklaces with their sweaters It was not unusual to see them with matching and con- trasting bows in their hair. Trench coats were popular during the fall and spring seasons. The poplin coats were in style for both the boys and girls. The long car coats were in style for the winter. The boys wore letter men sweaters. The style in slacks for them was the slim continental look. Many of the boys had the latest three quarter length sleeves on their shirts. The Chinese collar look was also popular. Their shoes also showed the popular pointed toe. Three years ago the fall delivery was tried, and it has been used every year since then. The fall delivery was selected because the entire year's events can be contained in the one book. Mr. Bob Schuler, from the WCMP Radio Station was on hand to provide the entertain- ment for the evening by playing old-time and popular music. Refreshments were served to anyone who desired them.
