SPEECH CLASS members Shirley Erickson Elaine Peterson Barbara Carlson Louise Butkiewicz and Shirley Ha beck await Mr Midkiff s signal to begin reading the selection they will present in the Christmas program 770: 2046-47104445 Put alittle more expression into that scene' Such a statement could only come from Mr Midkiff our dramatics and speech teacher who also directed the Junior and sen ior class plays He taught English ll and 12. besides advising the Moose Call and the senior class In his lei sure hours Mr Midkiff finds time for his hobby interior decorating He is a graduate of Hamline Univer S1ty Although Miss Hermanson had only one class of sophomore English her day was completed by taking care of the library and reading stories to the grade students. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and playing the piano. She obtained her B.S. degree at the North Dakota Agricultural College and her library degree at the University of Minnesota.
