ag my 25 The height of every senior's high school career is graduation - the end of a new beginning. The class of 1978, graduating 259, took part in baccalaureate and commencement exercises on May 21, 1978, at the MHS gymnasium. Led by valedictorian Jeanie Perry, salutatorian Lisa jones and class president Jim Bagley, with class sponsors Mrs. Clarissa Snapp and Mr. Robert Grosskreutz, the class had the distinction of being the largest class to ever pass through the doors of MHS. Despite heat, excitement, and some sorrow, seniors were relieved to receive diplomas from superintendent Mr. William Curry.
