121. 162,-45am This year's musical, based on the Al Capp comic strip character Li'l Abner, was presented April 28 and 29 in the MHS gymnasium and viewed by packed houses each night. With outstanding performances by Don Reichard, Li'l Abner, Lori Hickerson, Daisy Mae, Mike Klass, Marryin' Sam, Lori Hickerson, Mammy Yokumg and David Strohmeyer, Pappy Yokum, the many hours spent in preparation were well rewarded. Mrs. Pam Anderson, stage director, and Mr. Gene Raymond, music director, along with many others, put more than their fair share into the production and with standing ovations on both nights, what better way was there to end long hours of work? if X I 1.3
