A new feature this year was the running ot Junior Varsity races, giving all members a chance to compete and improve their per- formances. Individual standouts included Bert Pschunder, who broke the 9 year old school record tor the 2,5 mile Strawbridge Lake course with a l2.ll.l clocking, and Russ Martin, who improved rapidly throughout the season to give Moores- town one ot the top one-two punches in the area. SPANISH CLUB The Spanish club, a new organization this year, had a strong beginning. The obiective ot this club is to promote understanding at Spanish and the Spanish culture. LATIN CLUB Just like the way ancient Rome under the leadership of its kings, consuls, and emperors spread out to rule over all Europe, so does the modern day MHS Latin Club now infiltrate the various classes, gaining many eager members. The excitement and thrill of these indefatigable Latians lures them. We did not complete our year without first re-build- ing the Troian horse, attending a few Roman dramas, dining in villas all over town, racing chariots, swimming, watching films, and ending it all with our traditional banquet fit for the gods. As we Latin seniors turn our chariots and ride off, the whole club would like to bid farewell to a great year and to thank our madister et auctor David Rhody for all he has done. Without him, many of our activties would not have been possible. Vale et ave, Caesar. fir' 1 ' ff N ? ' ' ' f ' .nu 'Wold Row l. P. Hodgen, M. McCord, G. Adams, M. McCrabb, R. Sherman, H. T 6' . x 'T' vpn., To ,nl N .... SENIOR CLASS PLAY You Can't Take lt With You, by Kaufman and Hart, was This year's Senior Production. This romantic comedy, set during The depression, was out- standingly done. Everyone who attended The show agreed iT was great. This was largely due to The et- Torts of Miss Francesca Maria Femia. The cast party was as much ot a smash as The play, and as Those who attended know, not even The tact that The Sa- nyour's dining room drapes burned up was enough to put a dent in The festive atmosphere. Alas, all things decompose oftersteadily enduring a rug- K ged terrain for an extended period of time. The demise of the order of Fred this year is due largely to an increase in popularity. At the awards dinner, Bill cried, and the decision to fly the flag at half mast was made. Fred means never having to say anything. Cipolla, W. Anderson, J. Sanyour, Grand Fred, K. Reeves, L.
