DJEDINCATJIUN CNG years ago man dreamed that one day he would find a land where he could speak his own thoughts freely and worship his own God unafraid-wwhere he could so govern himself that he would have freedom from want and from fear. That dream became America. Great faith, un- bounded courage, vast strength, ceaseless toil made it so. Today, not only is our freedom the dream of the world, but our strength is also its hope and our race against time, its prayer. Because Mr. lsenberg, Mr. Swoyer, and Mr. Egner, who are now actively engaged in the service of hu- manity, believe so thoroughly in the principles for which America stands and steadfastly hope in the win- ning, not only of the war but also of the peace, the Class of 1945 is proud to dedicate to them this book. FOREWORD A S SCHOOL got under way last September, we heard more and more from the radio and from the press of a real desire of other people and countries to change our nation-its ideals, form of government and way of life. And there was borne upon us a deeper sig- nificance of what this war really means to us as Ameri- cans and to the whole world. Eagerly we students of Moorestown High School accepted the challenge and set about the three-fold task of Saving, Serving, and Conserving. In this, the 1945 Yearbook, we have tried to pre- serve the story of our part in the first full school year ofthe war. 6
