These TimL years of school were so wonderful wi+h no homework and reporf cards +ha+ had no grades buf said nice +hings abouf each of us. In fourfh grade we s+ar+ed our weekly session in meefing wiih +he fiHh and sixfh grades and +he classes of +he high school. Our leacher said. +he big boys and girls are seniors. ln sixfh grade we buill' a beaufiful medieval casHe ouf of carlons and anyfhing else we could find. under The wa+chiul eye of Miss Swan. This year we were all boafs. The poor pupils were rowboafs. good pupils were sfeamboafs. Whal a +hrill if was +he nex+ year when we fair pupils were sailboafs. and moved inlo +he big building. There we wemL +0 a differenl room for each Class and had a diT-FeremL Jreacher for each subied. H seemed +ha1L +he faculfy even had an arrangemenf where- by some of us were selecfed +0 spend some +ime wi+h a diHerenf feacher each affernoon. New classmafes joined us from Riverlon, Haddonfielcl and Medford. ln +he eighfh grade we wavered amid epi- demics ol shoo+ing paper wads and bee-bees. Cerfain members of our group di5C0vered Jrhai love could be beauiiiul. The boys presenfed +he memorable produciion oi Pyramus and Thisbe. As freshmen we began +0 parficipaie more aclively in sporis and ofher exfra-curricular acfiv- i+ies. We had home-rooms downs+airs and saf in +he cenfer sedion in Jrhe audiforium. We were really growing up! When we became sophomores we began in- ves+iga+ing +he wonders of Social Securifies, Youfh Concerfs, and Glee Clubs. Our class meelings became more imporlamL and more exciiing. We chose our class advisers and +ha+ year we gof our class rings and class pins. The big evenf of our junior year was +he Junior Prom. We all agree +ha+ if was +he besf ever held. Thai year we also slavecl over +ha+ grea+ li+erary success. +he Sun Dial. Jane Bliss walked off wiih Jrhe Junior Exlemporaneous Speaking Conlesl cup as well as Tirsf prize in +he Junior Essay Confesf. Mr. Reagan began his usual warnings abouf college. Finally we became mighly seniors. Though if hardly seems possible. Our greal underlaking. The Senior Play. along wilh +he Yearbook. Senior Essays and College Boards, has made +his year a full one for all. Three of our members wemL +0 +he Buck Hill Falls Co-ed Conference. Joan and WahL were represenlalives +0 Jrl'ie American Friends Service Conierence, and in February Shoana and Wall parlicipaled in Jrhe Junior Town Mee+ing of Jrhe Air program which was broadcasf from The audiforium over sfafion KYW. Now our days ai M.F.S. are over. buf no maHer where The Tulure Jrakes us. we will remember +hose wonderful years we spenf here and look back wilh regrel +haf They passed so quickly. and icy fhaf we spenl +hem so happily.
