However the class led the honor roll in number and showed some coming athletic material. During our sophomore year we became better acquainted with each other. Pos- sibly the greatest accomplishments of the year were the publication of our school pa- per the Buzzer and our class picnic at Champaign on the last day of school. Our junior year was very successful. We started off by winning the Stunt Show Cup with a very clever stunt. We worked very constantly in order to give the seniors a ba.1qu-t which they would appreciate and remember. The banquet was very lovely and we were very glad to be able to give them such a. gay affair. By the end of the year the Athletic Association had presented eleven major M s to juniors. These boys also won the class basketball tournament. As this is written all seniors realise that there are only two more grade period' left in our high school careers. After these are finished we shall all go a different way and never be together in a group again, With this thought in mind we are tryin' to make this year leave with us pleasant thoughts of our high school days. We regret that we have to leave behind us the beautiful new gymnasium which we have only en- jcyel for one year. The greatest accomplishment of this year was the winning of th Stunt Show Cup for the second time in succession and also the Beauty Queen Contest boih on the same night. The beautiful scoreboard in the new gym was a presentatiou of our class. Our next aim is to publish the best Owl ever to be put out by any class and for the good of the school we hope that some class in the near future will publish even a better one. - Joe Schilling 36 ll 5 UG'lH wmPPO mbmb-110 'U 97 UQ ro 23 3 ro 1' 4' 5 'mf' 'K -1 lg . . 2 'V ef, 5 I I HL u A ' . 7 ' 1 B 1 :I I ' .
