Junior Mindy Miller wanted to be all three. I want to go to UCLA and then Stanford Med School to become a cardiologistf' she said. Then I want to write a book about the heart. After that. . .the White House! Most students strayed far from the goals they had as children. They realized as teenagers that these goals wouldn't be as easy to reach as they had originally thought. Senior Dana Lord had a very different goal for life. I want to go to OCUI' she ex- plained. After that, I want to be a youth director at a church. I love to be with kids, but teaching has too many restrictions. I want to be a social worker for Indians, said junior Mary Hall. 'LI like to help people in general, but I want to help my people specifical- ly. I enrolled in accounting this year and found that I like it. Though most students had clear goals, some were stuck between two ideas. Others hadn't even thought about their futures. 'I don't know what I want to dof' declared junior Carolyn Quick. When I was a kid, I wanted to be a teacher. I've decided against that after going through high school. Though some goals would change over and over, most students began pushing themselves to eventually reach their goals. Military Option.
