WE SALUTE YOU MISS E. O. KING After a period of service beginning in 1917 and extending until the present year, Miss E. O. King, the senior class sponsor, librarian, and former teacher of English, completes nearly four and one-half decades of teaching boys and girls. Because of her untiring efforts and her great contributions to the welfare of this class, previous senior classes, and the many students who have walked through the corridors of Moore High School, this 1963 Lion yearbook is dedicated to her.

RICHARD LEE, Editor-in -Chief The annual staff of the Senior Class proudly presents the 1963 edition of The Lion. To compile this yearbook we have gone into the depths of our memories and imagina- tions to recapture the events of our senior year. We have included those thrilling mo- ments and somber reflections that will linger with us. Our yearbook theme, Fishing for Prosperity, expresses our attitude toward our future realizations which we believe will require the patience and faith of the resource- ful fisherman. Like the fisherman, we will carry the knowledge and skills with which our dear teachers have equipped us during our twelve years in the public schools to achieve suc- cess. To the administrative staff and faculty we say humbly, Thank you. As yearbook editor, I wish to thank all of mycapable assistants and advisors for the cooperation they have given me to make this publication possible. Richard Lee Editor-in-Chief
