N . f , ' I , L SEASON HE Moon Tigers found competition in section 22 to be plenty rugged as their opponents ' bounced them around most of the season. However, near the end ofthe season the Tigers got out of their slump with two consecutive victories which were enough to move them up out of the cellar into seventh place. Nevertheless, the varsity often times supplied much excitement as they battled their opponents to the final buzzer only to lose by a slim margin. SENIORS HE senior players dreamed of winning most of their games but found difficulty along the way. However these boys playing their last season for Moon gave a good accounting of themselves. Andy Balogh, Moon's scoring star, paced the Tigers with 289 points. Jim Mushalansky scored 204 points while Bill Campbell came a close third with 203 points. Moon's play maker, Sam Kelley, hit for 161 while the other seniors, Alfred Holst and Dean Whiteman added 71 and 15 points respectively. CHEERLEADERS F cheering had produced wins, Moon would have been a shoo- in, in both basketball and footballg for our senior cheerleaders led a squad that took second place to no wan H750 other group.
