“A? f W the QPHIOTS of 1545, entered the corr1dors of Moody H1gh school lll September of 1041 as Freshmen The class mumbered a l1t tle over forty, WIIICTI made us stand out among the upper classmen be cause of our numbers The football team was honored hy having two of our classmates lohn Fardner and Bobble Naler as members of the squad As we passed from Freshmen to Sophomores, we held our high cord of outstanding work These new members Joined our class Far line Mills, Norma Dean Henson, and Helen Earle Black The class won a beautiful picture for hux ing the most bonds in one month Our pride in having Parline Mills elected as Hand Sweetheart added to our record of achlevement 1943 found us Juniors and well on the road to success in high school Helen Farle Black was elected State Pres1dent of' the F H T and John Gardner went to Allen Academy to f'1n1sh his high school d me custom of Nl H how as we look back on our sen1or year we remember the happy days we have spent oy W1 lllams Bobble Naler Bobble 'league von Chaney, Earl qll8ITlb1lfl, Lay ton Hatter James Perryman, and Eldon Ball made uo a mamn part of' the Bearcat football team These boys played w1th the Splrlt and determ1nat1on that has carried our class through Its four vears lll hlgh school After commencement n1ght 19 over, oosslblv we will never as semble as a class agaln let the memories of our pleasant four ars in dear ole 'sl H S wlll l1nger wlth us alwa s Q 4,4 .L f 4- 1 , 'Ah' ' Xi.-z . .
