Highly self-motivated, Lisa sought for a ministry that would demand total commitment. Cahrini Green was her answer. The biggest emphasis in inner city work is on the children who are far more open than adults. Visitation, discipleship and Bible studies are other facets used to present the gospel. The key to inner city work is a genuine love for the people. You can't simply feel sorry - you have to help them. Help is more than a structured program. It's allowing yourself to get close and be a friend.
