Impressions Of a babe in a manger Who lived as a stranger Amidst great confusion and strife. Of the babe, now a man Writing words in the sand And saving a poor woman's life. Impressions Of this man teaching brothers Along with some others- My group of disciples, he said. Of telling great stories And wise allegories. At criminals' homes breaking bread. Impressions Of this man in a palace And men filled with malice As mocking and hate fill the air. Of lies and great shouting, Ot Governors doubting And seemingly no one to care. Impressions Of a cross on a hill And this man, loving still, As He quietly prays, God Forgive' Of this man in a tomb, ln men's hearts, no more room For the King that they would not let live v Impressions Of a stone rolled away, Of a much brighter day- A mixture of shock and delight. Of His group and locked doors With their teacher once more ln a meeting that lasted all night. Impressions Of this man who'lI return- A day for which we yearn. Perfection and freedom He'll bring! Of watching and waiting, His love still relating. Impressions of Jesus the King.

Moody: lf I could live my entire life once again, I would spend it preaching to Christians. For when Christians live right, sinners will automatically be saved. This week has been the fulfillment of his wish, Dr. Flhoads concluded. For God's people certainly have been fed. And so they were. Addressing the confer- 9, . snuff' ' 1 ' 5:5 ence theme, Unto thy Name give glory, noted Bible teachers and evangelists taught, challenged and inspired Christian audiences at Founder's Week 1979. The Christian glorifies God by displaying a changed life before a skeptical but searching world, the speakers declared. Americans are weary of words, but they are hungry for reality. said Dr. Howard Hendricks. Night after night differ- ent messengers called listeners to a renewed commitment to the service of the Lord Jesus Christ and an uncompromising Christian lifestyle. With wit and wisdom, Dr. Vance Havner exhorted audiences to fervent faith. Dr. Stephen Olford described the glory of the cross and the glory of the crown. Through the cross there is power to face the world with victory, Dr. Olford declared. When Christ returns as king to reign on earth, we shall share in His exhaltation. . .we shall share in His name . . . we shall share His coronation, Dr. Olford noted.
