A lo ti l' ,V Je... , ' FHESSHGE FRUlIl IJEHH UF EUUCHTIUH As you leave the Institutc and go on into whatever lies ahead for you in thc providence of God, one thing is absolutely certain. Success is sure in the accomplish- ing of God's will for you, if you always honor the YVord of God which you have been studying in this place. God said to the young man -loshua at the beginning of his ministry, This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouthg but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy ways prosperous. and then thou shalt have good success floshua l:8il Although you are living in a day of much powerlessness and actual failure in Christi ' ' an service, a day in which few seem to believe the familiar ' promise. whatso- ever he do th ' e shall prosper lPsalm 1:33. God is still willing to use in a mighty wav any who will dare to take Him at His word. He wants to bless you in the work He places in your hands Devote yourselves to the Scriptures. Meditate therein day and night. This means a constancy and a fervency in pray- er deeper than anything you may have known before. It means unswerving obed- ience according to all that is writtenl' in the Bible. It means holiness of life and faithfulness in service. Thank God, it also means that you will make your way prosperous in whatever you undertake at the bidding of the Holy Spirit, and it means that you will have good success. S. The employment of the students is regulated by Mr. N. julian and Miss N. Carmichael of the Student Placement Of- fice for the best interests of both the Insti- tute and the prospective employee. The office receives calls for various types of work from that of window washer to stenographer, and from baby-sitting to dog-walking. While some of the students are employed in various departments right here at the Institute, a large number work out in numerous offices, factories, and agencies, and this contact with the secular world of business gives ample op- portunity to demonstrate the practicability of the training we receive here at school. The receiving of the ARCH is a remind- er to Seniors that we shall not walk this way again, and it is presented with the prayer that we who possess it will be con- strained to walk always in those 'Separat- ed Steps, into which beloved instructors have led us during these short years at Moody Bible Institute. From the exhortative and thought-provoking editorials to the juicy tid-bits in Ram- blin ' the aim is to present that which will be of most interest to the MBI student. Two years ago the Student became a member of the Associated Collegiate Press, an association of college level newspapers, demanding the best in make-up, editing. writing, and news coverage of the school. The first rating received, although not the highest, was one favorable to a paper of its size and purpose. At various times a series of journalism classes have been held to give the reporters instruction and help in covering news beats and in writing the articles themselves. Not all has been work on the part of the staff, however, for social events have been held from time to time for the purpose of fun and fellowship among the staff members. V- , ' ' : : 1.
