April 1945 D. L. Moody started his Sunday School Class in order that the urchins of the Chicago streets might hear the gospel which had made such a wonder- ful change in his life. Little did he dream that some day a great Institute such as the one from which we are graduating would be standing in his memory. It was the desire to be able to tell others the gospel story that brought us to the Moody Bible Institute. Our hopes have been fulfilled. Our instruc- tors have worked patiently with us, for which we are very grateful. We shall always uphold this school before the throne of grace, praying that God will keep it the great training center that it has been to us. The practical Christian work which we have had here has equipped us to meet almost any problem that might confront us in our life's work of winning souls to our Lord. Our Lord hath commissioned us, ‘Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. As we, the class of April, 1945, go forth, it is our desire to serve our Lord in whatever capacity He would have us serve. Remembering ‘He that winneth souls is wise’... “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; And they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever’... also, our Lord's promise, “Lo | am with you alway, even unto the end of the world,” we leave this great milestone of our life to press on “that they may hear’ to the ends of the earth. a tee Goku Wilkens, class president 27
