December 1944 We, the class of December, 1944, are glad to have had th e privilege of fellowship in study, work and recreation at such a place as the Moody Bible Institute. Our thoughts drift back to the days we first considered entering the Institute and how we wondered at such a possibility. Then one day we arrived! Our first days were filled with thrills and surprises. As the days passed by it began to seem like our second home! We made new friends ... bosom pals, whom we shall never forget, though years and miles shall separate us from each other. The class of December, 1944, organized, and we saw Our names posted as members of that class. What a thrill! “Baby” Juniors... Juniors... and we made it... Seniors at last! Then after a busy term we marched in our caps and gowns to receive our much-longed-for diploma. God had an- swered our prayers and those of many relatives and friends. It seemed our stay was so short, but we know that as we walk down “memory lane” there will be many fond recollections which will make us laugh, sigh, or even cry as we recall how we were broken, molded and polished for our tasks somewhere in this great world. And now as in the words of our motto, ‘In Thy Name We Go,” we know our Heavenly Father watches over us. eke Lacy Fall, Class President 19
