Young Class of 1949, as you go out from the halls of your Alma Mater, I wish you every success and the deep satisfac- that comes from full surrender tion to Him. You will face dark days and perilous times. Remember: 'When the enemy shall come in like s flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. I would have you remember that the test of right and wrong is not what any man thinks but what God commands. 'whatsoever He saith unto you do it. 'Thus saith the Lord. C-od hath spoken' and our only duty, when we hear His voice, is to obey. Go forth, Class of 1949, 'strong in the Lord and. in the power of His might. May the Father in His infin- ite wisdom grant to each of you , through our Lord Jesus Christ and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, guid- ance and courage for the days ahead. 'And now abideth faith, hope, love these three, but the greatest of these is love. My sincere desire is that you nay be blessed by this greatest of all gifts as you leave Montrose to face life in a new responsibility. May you have The faith that will remove the moun- tains :Ln life. my you ever be 'looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the Great God and our Saviour Jesus Chr ist , thus faith shell be exercised and hope realized. Christian love is the need of this world today. 'Though I have all knowledge and have not love, I am nothing, says the Apostle. MY prayer for you is that as you go out from ue you may be used of God to spread the sunshine of Christian love wherever, in His will, you find your station in life. George M. McGuire llarion G.
