Miss Thelma Joyce Cook, charming and attractive daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Sam Cook, was elected by the basketball boys as queen of their team. She was crowned at the Montrose-Urich game February ll, 1955, by John Bellinghausen, captain of the team. Joyce is a member of the Junior Class, has been cheerleader for the past two years and takes part in all school activities, Miss Carita Bettels, daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Clem Bettels, was chosen by the team as an attendant.
