Here in college Ifind my second home, the dormitory, where the students become a family. The closeness of dorm life, and the unity of all the dorms add greatly to the spirit of the college. The dorm is a place for schemes and plans, fun and problems, conversations and arguments, studies and play. But most of all, it is my home.

The traditions and customs of the col- lege have become a part of my everyday life. Coffee and conversation in the cafe- teria, soccer and football in the late fall afternoons, shortcuts to classes, long dis- tance phone calls, and the chaos of Hallo- ween, all are a part of Montreat-Anderson College, and now are a part of me. I some- how sense that I am already a little different from the person I was in September.
