Results of the originality and combined efforts of Miss Miles and her students are displayed—and arc admired and “copied” by alert ob- servers. Seen here are Dr. McGregor and Mr. Anderson who were among this year’s guests. Unfortunately the Home Ec. De- partment, two classrooms and the col- lege business office have risen several feet off the ground due to the sud- denly heavy condition of the library on the other end of the building. The wonderful cause of this un- ' balanced condition is the unbelievable number of new books which have been added to the library. The students’ thanks to you. Miss Buchanan, for your infectious en- thusiasm and hard work in regard to the books new and old, and all the library has to offer. Here pictured arc Mrs. McGregor and some interested and interesting sophs at the library’s Open House. f 1' My heart awaking cries, “Oh, Fiddlestick ! . . from which re is no return. you sure you feel faint?” “No, he most certainly i not a prospective stu- dent ! SUN DIAL STAFF Top to Bottom: Kmilv Mohlcr, Editor; Mary Lou Kiser, Jewell Neil, Associate Editors; Martha Jones, Business Manager; Louise Bradshaw, Jo Davis, Advertising Managers. For the seniors on the Sun Dial Staff, this exit has a very real note of sadness. They, and all the other seniors will forget neither Montreat nor its Montreaters, and they would like to think they will not be forgotten. Homespun philosophy is pointless here, hut do consider the message of the Sun Dial motto. It counts only the hours that shine, or the sunny hours. Try to make your hours worthy of being counted. Find The Light. If you need a motto of your own, try Psalm 1 19:104-105 “Through Thy precepts I get under- standing; therefore I hate every false way. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path” 90 View from Lookout Mountain. FACULTY AND ADMINISTRATION Mr. George Andrew Anderson M iss Zoulean Anderson I)r. Ralph F. W.
