ROW 2, Carl Honaker, Don Sclix-.'a.rzl1opf, Paul Ely, Fred Reff, John Price, Dewayne Grove, Kenny Payne, Dicl: Peela, Tom Mounsey, Jerry Robbins, Hershel Needler, Gerald Runlale, and Tom Krebs. TRACK TEAM Although no trackrecords were broken during the track season, the Pacers did very well with a record of 13 wins and 9 loses. The E I C meet was ran on May 2, with Montpelier placing elth. We won over Hartford City in our final meet by 10 points. The Pacers were lead through out the season by Don Schwarrlaopf and Bill Kellogg, who had 72 and 55 individual points respectively. In the pictures below we see tx-so members of our relay team, Jacl: Cain and Tom Noller. Also there is Tom Schwarzkopf, Jael: Cain, Bill Robbins, and Ed Kershner running one of the Sprints. . l . Square and Round Dance Club The object of the club is to teach its members different types of dancing, The sponsors of this club are Mr. Horn and Mr. Naab. Their officers are: pres., Sandy Slentzg vice-pres., Bill Bracking sec., Beverly Weatherholt, and treas., Ed Kershner. The members are: Sue Armstrong, Dick 321165, Dianne Black, Steve Bloom, Donna Booher, Bill Brackin, Howard Brock, Betty Burchard, Sonny Carnes, Phyllis Chenoweth, Max Coffield, Bob Colvin, Dick Conrad, Dick Ferguson, Rita Ferguson, Randall Foy, Jean Garrison, Betty Gordon, Roger Q1-ass, De Wayne GIQVQ, Nancy I-Iombaker, Jean- nine Johnson, Mary Ann Johnson, Ed Kushner, JGUY Kershner, George Lugar, Nancy Mal'-Wt, Linda Mclranenv Donna Morgan, Tom Noller, Joe Parker, Paul' Quinenf Jeannine Schmidt, Steve Schwankopf, .Don Simpson, Sandy Slenu, Beverly Weatherholt, Ben Wilson, Yelonda Wise, Marie Sanders and Mary Royal. Due to the wide variety of clubs at Montpelier High, the students can all find the organization that really appeals to them. There are clubs for boys only, for girls only, or that are open to both boys and girls. They include athletics, farming, home- making, dancing, science, and oth- ers.
