1 pf I X ,iifsx PACERS BILL ROBBINS saw some action with the Pacers and showed great improvement through the season and will return next year with a great deal of experience to his credit. DANE WILLIAMS came to us this year from Desoto. He has gained a lot of experience that we will certainly be able to use in the future. Al- thouglithis was his first year on the team, DEWAYNE GROYESS height was of real use during many of our games. No team could really be a success without the help ofa fine student manager. We appreciate the fine moral support received from GA RY OVER- MEYER, ED KERSHNER a sophomore forward moved up the line from the second team early in the season toa regular player on the varsity. This is TOM NOL- LER'S first year on the varsity and we know he is look- ing forward to getting in more action next year. This is RODNEY BLACK'S first experience with varsity play. TEQRY OVERMEYER our assistant manager to Gary, was great help in getting the boys ready for practice and play.

Backed by fine coaching abi1ity,our team has shown remarkable im- provement since our first game with Dunkirk. CARI. HONAKER using all his past experience again produced a winning team for the Pacers. We are looking forward to another winning team next year. DON SCHWARZKOPF was our best rebounder until he chipped his ankle bone in the Hartford City game. We really missed him during the season. JACK CAIN is a regular player who could handle the ball and make his share of the points. His place on the floor will be difficult to fill. DICK PAYNE is one of the regular I I starters for the Pacers, and he was high point man in many gamesg we will certainly miss his sure eye next season. ASSISTANT COACH MODLIN assisted Mr. Honaker a great deal in practice and getting the boys ready for the games. DAVE NESTLEROAD was our youngest regular Pacer. He is a freshmen this year and we are expecting great things from him for three more years. BILL BALES started out slow but showed great improvement during every game. RAY COFFIELD didn't see a great deal of action, however, he was one ofour stronger reserves. This is his last year with the Pacers. - - 5 Q I I I . x - Nt'
