The purposes of the club are to sponsor a greater interest among the students in the use of books, to stimulate reading interests, and to improve the library service of the school. The purpose of the club is to promote better speech and acting, The club is divided into committees, each of which selects, casts, and puts on a one-act play at one of the regular meetings. They attended the Drama Conference at Ball State in the spring. The club enjoyed a Christmas patty at the home of Miss Albertson and a spring party at the home of Miss Nelson.
