THREE BLIND DATES Three Blind Dates, a comedy in three acts, was presented by the junior Class, March 51. 1950. Katy Ellis was fed up with Helen Woods' eternal bragging about her brothers popularity and social graces. What really hurt Katy was the fact that her brother George, away at college, was impervious to women. Brooding over the fact that George was unpopular, Katy decided to do something about it. She hxed his room to look very mannish, and told the girls that he had undergone a miraculous change. When George came home from college, he was still the same old George. He didn't try to help Katy out of her mix-up of having each of three girls thinking he liked her only. Finally Katy got rid of two of the girls, but Janet Smith, still waiting and hoping, came after George to take her to the Country Club dance. George left with her because janet had several dogs, and Georges latest invention was flea powder. This made Katy very happy for her problem was solved. The fact that Katy was out of trouble even made Ada, her pessimistic friend, smile a little. Dave has one of the best left hand shots that has ever hit 'Pelier. Whether ahead or behind, Dave always played his best. A senior, Dave will be greatly missed next year. SUNNY JACKSON KI-Ierclej is only a sophomore, but his rebounding ability and his one handed shots moved him into the varsity lineup. As Sonny will be back the next two years, he should be a tough customer for opposing teams to handle. REX BELL 1Rosie7 has seen most of his action on the second team, but when called into a first team game, Rex made good use of his height. As he is only a junior, he will be back next year fighting hard for the Pacers. JAMES BON-JOUR ljiml also plays a forward spot. At first jim didn't see much action, but when sent into the game, he gave the team a lot of pep, and his rebounding spelled downfall for many a team. As jim is a senior, he will not be around next year. DON ELY lEly9 holds down a forward spot on the first five, He started this year playing guard, but his rebounding ability on both backboards moved him to a forward spot, where he did a very good job. As Don is a senior, he will receive his sheepskin in May. PAUL PUGH rStoogiep was the only boy to receive a jacket with four stripes, but since he was student manager, nobody kicked about it. Stoogie was generally right there when he was needed and always had a slick shine on the basketballs, Ceven if the underclassmen helpedy.
