His warm smile, his firm handshake, his friend- ship and concern for the many who have been privileged to know him will be long remembered, long after the last strains of “Pomp and Circum- fade into time. His dedication to the needs of the students is manifest in his wise guidance and counselling, his helping hand a trusted support in times of need. He helps to shape the future more brightly, to guide the process of learning better to benefit the needs of the individual. For his concern is with the individual, the personal characteristics that make one person different from the next. Administration With years of devotion to education behind him, Dr. Robert H. Chastney, Principal, constantly strives for an always understand- ing of youth. With an expression of laughter, Mr. Gray R. Coane, Assistant Principal, reveals his sense of humor mingled with his seriousness in educating young people. Deeply concerned about the affairs of Montpelier schools, Mr. Alan H. Weiss, Superintendent of City Schools, converses about the budget for the 1967 fiscal year. 6
