CU TE TS FACULTY CLASSES SPORTS ACTIVITIES ADVERTISING Foreword A clearer understanding of the functions of the annual can be obtained by a brief glance at its history and development. In the early years it was a memory album for seniors only. In the beginning seniors exchanged pictures. Some pasted them into albums together with newspaper clippings to serve as a reminder of school days. Eventually printed yearbooks came into being. In the late l880's, the use of halftones adopted this new method of photo reproduction. PAGE FOUR H l E Dedication As we pause for a moment to recall our past l2 years, we think over all the incidents in which we made big successes or failures. But regardless of how our trials turned out, we are very thankful to Dad, and Mom, who have been behind us, no matter what happened. We realize it now more than ever as we have come to the point in our lives where we are going to have to leave our parents and homes and try to put to practice all the wisdom we have gathered since our first grade of school. Knowing this, we become very humble and grateful to you, our Dads and Mothers, who have undoubtedly been the ones who have kept us going.
